...not your ordinary corporate communications

Ready to Roll is a small, professional team experienced in creating original programs cost effectively and quickly.

Geoff Paine - Creative Director: In the 80’s, Geoff started as an actor on ‘Neighbours’, has appeared on stage, television, radio and film and then in the 90’s found himself writing scripts and producing events for the corporate world. Now, with Ready to Roll, he is part of a crack team who can, at a moment’s notice, argue with or politely ignore him. His approach to any communication is to keep it simple and clear and engaging. And no idea is impossible (until we do a budget).

He’s worked for government (state and local), and companies that sell phones, cars, money, hardware, software, healthcare, tyres and air travel. It has given him a broad knowledge of business and a fear of powerpoint presentations.

Carolyn Masel - Producer: Think of Carolyn Masel and you think of one word: experience. Here’s why -

She wrote her thesis on employee information sharing at UNSW and has worked in Sydney and Melbourne making every kind of corporate video. Starting in advertising about twenty years ago, she broadened her skills to produce events, multi-media projects and print production. Now she brings her impeccable production experience, obsession with effective communication and fastidious management skills to Ready to Roll.

Chris Tomkins - Director/Editor: To say Chris has done it all is an understatement (and an edit in itself). He’s produced, directed, edited and written for television, radio, internet and corporate communications. He’s done TV commercials, music videos, animation, short films, corporate videos and the odd documentary. Chris completed a BA in Film & Television at Monash in 1998, with a major in Psychology on the side that he has already repressed.

He is also co-creator of the website, GORSKYS.COMedy which receives over 250,000 visitors per month from all over the world (not just friends). At night, Chris plays in satirical rock band, ‘Man Bites God’, which gives him serious street cred.
